I'm confused by the following question:

Does [name] have a relative who is a citizen or permanent resident of Canada? (The relative must be 18 or older and living in Canada.)

My wife is a Canadian citizen, but she has been living in the U.S. for the past five years - so I would choose "No" correct? Since she is not "living in Canada"?

If your wife is not currently living in Canada choose 'No'. If she is currently living in Canada choose 'Yes'.

No the relationship is too distant. This will not get you any points in your CRS application. Even in your application, your relative is not a 'close blood relative'. Stick to the following:

1) Father
2) Mother
3) Brother
4) Sister
