Do separated/divorced wife and child need to be listed as dependents?

Me and my wife are currently in the process of finalizing our divorce.

As per our divorce arrangement I am making a one off payment to my wife as child maintenance following which she will take custody / legal responsibility of our child.

In the given scenario do I need to list the child as my dependent given that I do not hold any further legal responsibility nor will the child be included in my express entry application.

Your child needs to be included. Your wife does not.
