My student TRV expires in 2022 and I recently received my PGWP. Prior to that I was an international student on a study permit.

Given that I've encountered issues with TRV, I would like to know if under a PGWP I need to apply for a worker TVR when entering Canada or can I still use my study TRV as long as it's not expired?

1. No, you don't need a new TRV.

There is no need to apply for a new TRV!

If you have a PGWP, your student visa is void. You still need a TRV to enter Canada.

But once you have a PGWP, your student visa is no longer valid even if it expires in November. Your student visa is void 3 months after graduation.

You're confusing study permit with student visa (TRV.)
