Hi
I have my work permit with me in my passport. Its states:
Employer: Open
Occupation: Open EA
EMP Loc: Unknown
Fee Status: E05
Does this tell you what kind of Visa I have and whether I can extend??? Sorry for the million questions. I just want to get this all ok.
Thank you SO much for you help
You're here on a working holiday visa/IEC. They definitely cannot be extended. Again, your choices are either to get an approved LMO and apply for a closed work permit - or apply for a second IEC if you are allowed.
Ok. Well that clears it for me. So confusing to what your entitled too! It says on the back of my visa that I can extend. But I guess its only the ways that you have informed me. Again Thank you. Do you work in this line of work?
Hi Scylla
Ok so I am getting my boss to fill in form for an LMO he has advertised aswell. So what form do I fill in next as it won;t be extending my visa now it will be sponsorship. ???
Thanks
Once you have the approved LMO, you will submit an application for a new (closed) work permit tied to that specific employer.
Is the IMM 5710 form sound correct?
Hi, I have a quick question. My job does not require LMO.
I have a work permit visa approved. But when I applied for WP, I got another offer. Now I would like to work with the new employer than the one with whose offer I applied for TWP visa.
I am going to enter Canada @ border next week.
As my job does not require LMO, is it possible to get the WP for the new employer instead of the old one.?
Is there a possibility or do I need to apply new WP once I enter Canada?
I have the WP visa valid up to 2017.
Any suggestion will be appreciated!!
