Do I need a CPA License under NOC 1111?

Dear All,

I am currently applying to Canada under the skilled immigration NOC 1111 - financial auditor. Do I need to have a CPA License to apply under NOC 1111.

I have completed the 4 exams and i have a BBA and a Masters degree in Accounting. I still need to apply to get the CPA license, but i have completed the exams.

You don't need CPA to apply under this NOC.

I have 1.5 years of tax specialist experience from one of the top 5 banks in Canada. Earlier this year I got an accountant position at an IT firm. My job title is accountant and job description is inclined to 1111 but I also perform duties in 1311. I have a book keeper under me as well. I have a 4yr bachelors degree from a Canadian college. In the job requirement it says certification is required.

Does my tax specialist experience also fall under 1111 as well? It has the job title but the job description is not there on CIC page.

Yes, but NOCs are 5 digits now.
