Can closed work permit holders take a distance learning course for a Postgraduate Diploma from an institution outside Canada? I am aware that the closed work permit mentions restrictions on studying at a college or taking training, but it doesn’t specify distance learning. Does anyone know if this is allowed? I am exploring the possibility for claiming additional CRS points using this additional degree, but I am not sure if IRCC considers this a permit violation or not.
