Hi, I am in the same boat. Just got an email with the same message as you. I have been trying to find information on what to do next. Did you send them the printed document with one picture? Did you receive your PR Card? I´m in Ontario too!
Thank you for your help! I appreciate it!
I got the COPR as a pdf file in an email from VO Ottawa. That pdf states that you need to send a copy of that letter with 1 photo following instructions to the address on the letter.
The same file was later uploaded to my account as COPR, approx a week later of getting the email.
Haven't got any notifications email for the last 2 months. As I regularly log in to the CIC website to see statuses, saw an approval message (dated today) with COPR document Id with an expiry date. It doesn't have any PDFs. I haven't received any emails too.
Should I wait for a week before contacting IRCC? Please advise.

you must inform IRCC that you are not in Canada then IRCC will cancel your inland COPR. They will issue new COPR and you have to get your passport stamped.
