Hello I want to know what does Cic specification of chin to crown distance means?
Does that mean that when I open my jpeg file and take a millimeter scale and measure the distance on my screen, it should measure between 31 mm to 36mm. My physical photo is 50 mm x 70 mm with chin to crown distance is 35 mm. However, I am confused about my digital photo. When I put the scale on my screen it measures somewhere between 70 mm to 75 mm. I asked my photographer and he assured me that it’s ok

Take the printout of specification page and visit a local professional photographer. Ask him to provide digital copy in this dimension. That's it.
I tried to resize in paint and end up having chin to crown distance 35 mm and frame size 50 mm x 70 mm and saved in jpeg format. Is that ok??

I wouldnt do it myself. Let the photographers handle it. Theyre usually familoar with requirements
I didn’t crop actually. When I opened
my full size digital photo on paint, I resized it and changed dimensions only in vertical and horizontal directions. That’s how I end up having the desired specification

If it works for you
