I wasn't planning on taking both language tests, but with a score of 457 I figured I should try to gather a few more points to have a hope of getting an ITA.
I took the English test (CELPIP) and declared English as my primary language (French is my first language, but I speak English at home and have lived in North America for 10 years now), and I figured I should do well on TEF because French is my first language but I wonder if the test is more difficult that I imagine.
Does anyone have recent experience taking TEF? The sample tests online seem pretty easy, but I'm not sure how accurate that is.
It is harder than IELTS all things being equal. But I'm sure you will do well. There is no reason not to do it. After all any amount of points is helpful being so close to 460's.
