I applied for study permit and it has been approved on nov 5. I got 2 correspondence letter, one for biometrics validity and one for study permit approval. I have not received my passport request after 15 days and sent CIC an email about it. They confirmed that I have been approved but said that "Please be advised that you need to apply for and obtain a temporary resident visa in addition to your study permit." I thought that visa will be issued together with the study permit?
