Did CIC ever lose anyone's FBI clearance?

Thank you for the good luck!... Today at 3:39PM EST I actually got an email that said "We will accept the copy of your FBI report as it does appear that you have previously submitted the original." ... so I will take that... I already sent them the copy so that will hopefully move this along!

I don't think they will bother to find it or look for it. They asked me for proof of relationship and I had already sent in over 500 pages of proof. They just can't find my paper file.

so I sent in copies of everything and told them that was all I could get together on such short notice and to look for my paper file. I even sent them a copy of my notes and where it says the paper file is.

It is almost like they don't look for anything. If its not right in front of them then they just request it.

They must have, They requested my relationship proof and I had already sent in 532 pages of proof. I can't imagine they need more proof than that for a USA applicant. Plus they had originally requested my FBI clearance and I had also sent that. They then said they would accept a copy since it appeared I had already submitted the original. That begs two questions:

1. Why do they even need a copy if they know what was on the original?
2. If they don't, why are they accepting a copy?

There's got to be a more secure way they can be doing this, rather than having us get a police clearance sent directly to us, then sending that to whatever abyss stuff floats around in before they start working on it.

I agree 100%... But getting answers from them is like pulling teeth! lol
