Did Anyone whose ECAS changed to 'In Process' on oct. 09th receive PPR or DM ??

Congrats benitaagogo, that gives me hope that the IP is real.

Ordering notes might be an option if I don't hear from my VO by the end of this month.

I got DM today, IP on Oct.9th, hang in there guys!! I used to think this is a fake IP since so many people got IP on the same day but now it's proved I might be wrong.

If you haven't order notes, I suggest you to, you will be more clear about your case and maybe less stress.

When did your VO start processing your file ? That will give you an idea if much will be said in the notes.

We have a similar timeline, I'm also hoping for PPR & DM before the end of this year. I haven't receive any request for docs.
Fingers crossed.

IP on Oct 9 but nothing new as of yet. We did send in a few more docs when the batch email was sent. I'm hoping for early Dec DM but since the process was changed I really have no clue now.

You are certainly at the end of the journey. You will be getting the PPR anytime soonest.
The main thing is the interview was positive.

We went IP in June 2015( application date Apr2014)...dated 23JUN2015 and then around 09OCT2015 IP changed to 11JUN2014...yes backwards a year...we have had a positive interview in LA at beginning of NOV2015 but nothing so far...Case Manager did say that if the medical had been reviewed she would have issued the PR we have heard nothing..

Still nothing for me. I ordered case notes October 8th (with IP happening October 9th).

I got the GCMS notes last weekend, and nothing had changed since my last GCMS order in August. Mind you, they pulled the notes on October 14th—9 days before I got an additional documents request and only 5 days after I went IP. I'd like to think that if I'd ordered them today and received them same-day, that something would be started.

I'm still hoping we'll see something in December. I'd love to be able to kick of 2016 as a PR of Canada.

I sure hope so! Itd be great getting it now but at this point whats another month or two in the grand scheme of things?

I have done too much crossing my fingers...in all seriousness we were told we should have PR by the end of Nov...we are planning on Feb or March of next year...2 to 4 months...seems to be the norm for us...unless its in writing in my hand I do not believe a single word...horrible to have to think that way but its our reality and some people are worse off then our case.

I went in process on August 21st (with a date of April 8th) and I just got DM on November 5th. I'm still waiting on the COPR to arrive. Canada Post is so slow!!! I only live a 2 hour drive from Ottawa! I'm thinking October IP'ers should start seeing DMs in about a month or so, according to this new pattern.

I just got off the phone with the CIC call center and apparently DM doesn't mean they actually made a decision. They changed mine to DM just to indicate my application was complete and not missing anything. I can't understand why they keep toying with our emotions this way. Ugh!!!

@ Turbo, after IP no other Doc requested.I once missed a mail from Canada post when I went to pick it they said it was too late and was returned.I am not sure if it was from them or a different one.thios waiting time is killing us.

In the year I've been on these boards, I haven't ever heard anyone who has DM on ecas, call and be told that their DM "meant it was just a complete application."

I'm more inclined to believe that the CIC worker was mistaken versus your DM not actually being DM.

You've been waiting 10 months; you're right on schedule for DM. There's no precedence for DM being anything but a true decision made.

I might call back tomorrow and hope you get a new person who answers the call. I have a feeling you might have been misinformed.

I sure hope you're right. Several of us just got DM at the end of October/beginning of November and no COPR yet. I know they seem to have made a few changes in the last several months in how they process things. Used to be that once you got in process, DM would follow in just a couple of weeks, but mine took more than 2 months. But yeah, wouldn't be the first time I was grossly misinformed by a call centre agent.

Turbo, we have the same VO. I don't know when it changed to 'in process' but I saw it on Oct 13th. We got passport + medical request request last week. See my timeline to the left.
