I went to usa in 2007 and lived there illegally for like 10 years and i also married someone but the marriage was not found geninune by immigration of usa. And it was called marriage fraud and i was deported. There was no conviction or jail term. And i had no crimes or drink driving . . Now i want to apply for atlantic program and i have experience too and im eligible. I have someone with job offer too in altantic canada. Can i come to canada as pr even though i was deported from usa with marriage fraud

Yes, you can apply. You will need to make sure you declare your US immigration history fully in your PR application to Canada.

If you are eligible and have job offer with a designated employer then you can apply. You need to declare the deporation.

You will need to make sure that there are no questions that you have paid for employment. Unfortunately it does happen and given your attempts to remain in Canada involved a marriage of convenience your application will face additional scrutiny.

US shares immigration information with Canada. Entering a marriage of convenience shows that you are trying very hard to not return to your home country.

What is AIPP Stream are you eligible for? The job must be with a designated employer. As said, must declare deportations. Assume employer knows.

Your application will face more scrutiny but yes you can still apply for PR. Applying for any temporary permit like a WP would be very difficult.

It was in the United States, but they’ll look to see that you were willing to be a part of a marriage of convenience in order to attempt to stay in that country .
