My friend has valid dependent work permit upto next year. But he is planning to study here, so when he is apply for study permit i.e. change of status. Can he keep on working on his work permit until study permit decision is made ?
 
He can work while his work permit is valid. If it expires before he receives his study permit, he must stop working.
