Dependent Child Sponsorship

Hi,

I submitted my dependent child sponsorship application on Oct 26 (it got there on Oct 30ish) and still haven't heard from CIC yet (no AOR)..
Is it normal?
I am in Canada and my child is outside of Canada.
I was able to sponsor my child since they change the dependent child age.
I am assuming there are a lot of applications to process after CIC change the age limit ?
I am super worried, because my child has turn 22 in November (which is after I sent the application), and if they return it my child will no longer qualify for resubmission.
Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Yes - it's normal. Typically takes 6-8 weeks to hear something.
