Dependent child sponsorship: Approved by CPC-Mississauga,file sent to New Delhi

Hope everyone is doing well. M
my husband sent our baby daughter sponsorship application to CPC-Mississauga on April 11-2016 and just a week before got letter from CPC-Mississagua saying "The sponsorship application has been approved and it is sent to New Delhi". Although my husband had selected Islamabad as immigration office.

I have the following question:

1-Is New Delhi better than Islamabad , in terms of processing sponsorship applications?

2-how long does it take that CIC-New Delhi asks for passport?

3-As I am living in Afghanistan, so how to send my baby daughter passport to New Delhi? Does it have to be handed over in person or by courrier?

when we check online the status of our baby daughter it shows this:

1-We received your application for permanent residence on April 12, 2016.
2-We started processing your application on June 7, 2016.
3-Medical results have been received.

any idea how long it will take for CIC-Delhi to request the passport?

Hi

Your husband didn't select Islamabad because there is no option to select a visa office in the app. CIC chooses where to send it. Islamabad has a large backlog, so few apps are processed there anymore.

1. Yes, ND is better.

2. It will probably be a few months.

3. You can courier the passport.
