Dependent child PR benefits eligibility

I am writing this to seek clarity, i am currently doing sponsorship for my kid who was born in India. Me and my spouse are Canadian PR. My question is will my child be eligible for child benefits and RESP benefits or other such benefits provided by the Canadian government being a sponsored kid? Or it doesn't matter whether the kid is sponsored or not?

Once your child becomes a PR they are entitled to all the benefits that are available that they qualify for.

Assume you are now living in Canada because you must be living in Canada ti sponsor you’re child.
