I wanted to know how long delhi ircc takes for processing offline non sds files for study permit. I applied in june 2019 and still waiting! Anyone who is knowledgeable about this please do share the updates.
Thanks for the reply! But it's already 4 weeks for me so i guess it's slower than that... I hope to get some real world timelines like if someone from past year could share

I request everyone to share their visa timelines who applied non sds and their file is at delhi office. If you have got visa , sharing your timeline will help us a lot and if you have not got the visa yet ! lets connect here since delhi office specifically is taking much more time than other offices like banglore
Hello everyone. I have applied for the Study permit under Non SDS category. I have applied for the PhD program in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the Western University, London, Canada. As per the offer letter, I am getting the full tuition waiver along with the annual stipend of around $CAD 18000. I have applied via paper based mode & the timeline is as follow:
1. Medical: 30th May 2019
2. Appointment for application submission along with bio-metrics: 13th June
3. Application received by high commission: 17th June
4. Email to link my online account: 27th June
5. Email that my application is still in process: 5 days ago.
Any idea about how long it would take for the process? My session starts on 1st September 2019. I have submitted all the necessary documents along with my SOP, in which I have clearly indicated my intent for research and higher education, and then returning back to India to join CSIR labs/ professor at IIT's/NIT's/IIIT's.
Sharing my brother's timeline here. Applied offline non SDS for Fall 2019 intake.
Application submitted at VFS Delhi along with Biometrics and upfront Medical - June 14
Application received by High Commission - June 17
Received first student acknowledgement letter - June 28 (14 days from submission)
Received second student acknowledgement letter - July 12 (28 days from submission)
Nothing after that...... Waiting!!!
Even my Friends who applied on june 13 are waiting.. i guess Delhi office has only done files of june first week as i did see visa for first week applicants.. i hope you get the visa this week or next week positively
Basically they applied via delhi vfs on june 10 in University category and in offline mode.. all of them got visa last week ... Offline applicants don't really get the whole timeline because most of them don't do tracking
