Re: Delay in processing - Is it normal @ Seattle CIC, USA
Buffalo is quoting 17 months for processing (from the date of the AOR), so its not unusual that you have not received a decision yet. If you are concerned about your file, you can order CAIPS notes.
Hi Canada via USA,
I have the same situation like you. I sent my full documents to visa Office and it was also moved to in process in June 2010 and till date i have not heard anything from the visa office.
When they issued my 2nd AOR they said it will take 18 months to be processed, and i have asked from others and they said 18 months count is when the second AOR was sent from Visa office, so my 18 months will be end of February so i am waiting anxiously. I have also ordered Caips waiting to see what is the problem.
They are delaying the process , so we just have to w ait and see what they will say.

canadaforall - Do share your CAIPS notes deatils once you have it with you.
I am not sure if ordering CAIPS will provide any valuable information since our case lying IN PROCESS for 6 months and they have not asked any other docs or have not done any communication, it means VO/IO have just moved file to IN PROCESS status and technically no one is working on our file. And may be they have put some BFD's which is not known to us...

Yes i will do so once i have it with me. Yes i wanted to check if there is any BFDs date and if i have made the 67 points. sure all that will show on the Caips Notes.

Re: Delay in processing - Is it normal @ Seattle CIC, USA
Dear friends
I am from Nepal. I had submitted my medical reports including my original passport to New Delhi High Commission, India on 12th November and got a receipt on 21 November. My wife had a little calcification on her chest. After that, High Commission neither has sent any further medications nor issued the visa. Is this a common case or is there any probability that my visa will be rejected on the basis of her calcification?
