I got visa on August 2, 2017 for Sept 2017 intake and my visa is valid till March 2019. I have to defer my intake for January 2018 due to the work commitment at office (As my notice period in 3 months).
My course is already full for Jan 2018 intake but it is available for May 2018 intake. But my consultant is saying if i defer for May 2018 intake then i have to refile my study visa application. Please advise.

Chill man.. after you get ur visa if u want to defer u can you have to enter within one year. Get ur new offer letter and show the immigration. The country cant force u to start in one term. Its ur wish.

You can enter the country any time and resume the studies any time under validity period of your visa. But if you have applied for a new college and c ourse and have the acceptance, just update in your CIC account.
