Defer admission after getting the study permit

Hi

I just got approved for study permit and they want me to send the original passport however my work requires a three month notice before retiring so I can leave the country and travel to study in Canada.

I'm going to study graduate diploma in biotechnology and Genomics at concordia university for Fall 2023 intake. If I deferred my program do I need to reapply for the study permit again?

No, you have to get the new LOA from the school and advise IRCC.
