Declining an ITA

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Just declined my ITA for Express Entry, (needed to alter my education, long story!). After adjusting my profile, my points remain the same. Is this something that can take a while to update? I haven't received any messages on my account as to whether I'm even back in the pool! Should I cancel the whole application and start again, or wait it out for my points to adjust correctly?

I did, my degree is essentially split into 2 qualifications and I wrongfully put two or more certificates.
