Thanks
Do u know how much you are helping people in this forum? I called my lawyer ( I do pay him) to ask, he never called me back.
I can’t see your face but you are the most beautiful and genuine person in the world , in this moment. Thank you

Bro, why did you need a lawyer in the first place ? And if he's not answering, fire him, he's useless. I also echo what Ana said, the decision is 99.99% positive, they can't just reject you like that, you'd see it coming as they would ask you for a lot of things.

@Toronto1971 yes, you would receive communications asking you for things like proof of residence or interview if they were thinking of rejecting you. DM is virtually certainly positive. If you really want to confirm, order GCMS notes: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do
they will show a final status of Granted and a note that citizenship is granted, and your status as being ceremony ready.
And yes, immigration lawyers are pretty useless for everyday immigration matters, unless you have significant problems with your case that you would already know about, or you want to file a Writ of Mandamus.
Got decision made on June 22 and still waiting for oath from Edmonton office. Anyone else in the same situation? Can someone share the email address for Edmonton office please?

Finally ! I just got my oath ceremony notice this morning (August 8th) and my ceremony is scheduled for August 15th. It took a little over 2 months between DM (that I got on June 2nd) and my oath notice.

Question: I will be moving to a new city 2 weeks after my scheduled oath ceremony, where should I be updating my new address ? Do they confirm the address for where to send the certificate during the ceremony itself ? Will I get a chance to update my address during the ceremony ? My concern about changing it on ecas is that it's very slow to update...

I've seen people write about changing address via webform and it taking 3+ months. But I haven't done it myself so don't know. I think I read someone write about being asked during the ceremony to verify their address.

Yeah it may take a lot of time in some situations. I read somewhere that in the beginning of the ceremony, while they confirm your identity, they verify the address with you and that's an opportunity to update it. It's much more reliable and quicker than ecas.
