decision made- whats next?

Hi guys, i need help here. We checked our timeline on Feb 3 and it was already on DECISION MADE. but later after few days we cant access our timeline anymore saying like we have entered invalid information. We are sure that its all correct bcoz we have been checking it. Anyway, we have sent all the papers they asked and my passport. medical examination has been updated too.the last time we checked it it says ' the embassy will contact you concerning this decision. and it been over a week now and still haven't received my visa papers yet. Anyone knows how long it will take for us to get my visa papers here in Phils?

DM means its time to pack your bags and be ready to fly.....Theres problem going on with CIC regarding the eCAS status update and it is not working properly.So its nothing to worry...Good luck

did you cehck your junk mail , maybe they emailed you to tell that your file is done, and pack your bag, congratulation

theres no email. thats why we are so worried. and we cant access E-CAS still. my hubby called the CIC call center and they said its some technical issue.

I don't think you get an email for decision made, at least we never got an email. We saw decision made on website, and then a while later got the COPR in the mail. We had gotten other emails throughout the process... just not for decision made.

If you didn't do an interview basically its a success and you should get COPR and visa (if non visa-exempt and you sent passport) soon. Typically takes anywhere up to 3 weeks from decision made status to receive in the mail.

I had an interview on Dec.3, 2012 and saw DM on Feb.3,2013. We really hope that they have granted me a visa. I will just have to wait then. But other applicant got their visa in just one week after DM status was seen n E-CAS.

i just received an email from the Canadian embassy that they have already sent me my visa papers. The courier just cant find my address but they are going to deliver it tomorrow. Visa was issued on Jan.26,2013.

may i asked you something , when you redid the medical for the second time , how long you wait for the answer to get back , because my husband had his interview in October 18, and from that time he was backround checksm, and after when evrything was done VO in Vienna emailed us to let us know that his medical is expired and we had to redo , and he did last week , i dont know how long i have to wait more

So i believe that they are stamping the visa first before they change the status on ECAS. bcoz the visa was issued on Jan.26.

So for remedical, the file transfer from the clinic to embassy was pretty quick eh?
Btw, was there anything in specific about your relationship that made them call you for an interview? What did they say about it?

Yes, it was very fast. I am not sure why they asked me for an interview. But what we are thinking is probably his work. He is currently working part-time and might not be able to support me. But i told them that i will be working too when i get there. And some other basic questions like how we met, how long did we know each other before getting married and the like...and she was satisfied with my answers. She said congratulations after.
