A decision has been made. The office will contact "Wife's name here" concerning this decision.
This has been the status since the middle of May. How long does it take for them to contact my wife or myself?
Still no letter, no phone call, no email.
Does anybody know. Thanks in advance.
Depends on the local office, 1 to 2 months is common! I believe if you are in some of the major cities out west (I.e vancouver) it might take up to 6 months for the landing interview!

Wow, that's a long time to wait..
What are your general stats? Visa office, etc?
Yeah were in Vancouver. She is Korean. Oh jeez 6 months damn! She has to do an interview also? It just goes on and on.

not an interview, a LANDING interview. When a person lands, the officers ask a few questions, fill out the COPR, and issue the PR. This is referred to a "landing interview".

My husband is also Korean and our case was handled through Manilla. His ecas status changed to Decision Made on May 23 and he received his COPR on May 30, so you shouldn't have to wait much longer! However, you might want to double check that CIC has your correct mailing address on file. You can phone the 800 number to make sure. Also, once you have your COPR, I would recommend that you DRIVE to the nearest land border crossing and flagpole, instead of booking a landing appointment in Vancouver. Those appointments can take 3 months or longer, and then once your wife officially lands, she will have to wait another 8 to 12 weeks for her PR card. Quicker just to flagpole.

I think her COPR may have been sent to S Korea if that was her address in the applications.

I think from your other posts you applied OUTLAND though the Manila office, but please confirm this to be sure.
If that's the case, then as was mentioned her COPR documents probably went to her address in Korea. Did you officially change her mailing address to Canada when she came here as a visitor during the processing of application?? Or did you by any chance move recently? It shouldn't take more than 2-3 weeks for the COPR letter to arrive by mail after changing to "decision made" status.
If COPR docs are in Korea hopefully someone was at home to receive them, and can mail them to you in Canada. Once you get them, then as was mentioned you should drive to closest USA land border to do a quick flagpole PR landing. Her PR card will then arrive in the mail around 2 months later.
Hi my papers are being processed in manila office my husband is from Whitehorse, YT. My ecas changed to In process since May 1, 2014 until now there is no change. Almost a year already from d start of application. With the case of the other applicants in this thread wherein their ecas change to DM still waiting.
