Decision made before passport request/ Abu Dhabi VO

Hi all,

My ecas got updated yesterday with "decision made" but with no passport request !!!! Is it a bad sign? I was not able to get entry/ exit records from UAE immigration!! Am processing through Abu Dhabi VO.

Please let me know when's ur ecas got updated with decision made after or before passport request. I submited my medical test with the application and will expire next month.

It all depends on if you are from a country whose citizens do not need a visa to visit CANADA. If you are one of those, the VO will issue your COPR and that will be all you need to land. No counterfoil in passport is required, hence maybe, no PPR.

No my country needs visa. Actually my passport is already in the embassy I applied 2 weeks ago for visitor visa!.

There you go then, they already have the pp, so I believe you will soon receive passport with visa affixed

I got a passport request yesterday from Abu Dhabi VO.

In addition to my passport and three pics they have also asked me to send the passport copy of my sponsors passport with her residence having a cancelled stamp on it.

The whole process took 7 months.

I still dont know the decision :S.. And for my TRV application still didn't get my passport back!!! its 3 weeks now! how can I get my passport back?

For some countries citizens it takes longer to get TRV processed. But if you need your passport you can email them and they will send it back to you.

The average processing time is 5 working days + 10 working days to some citizen! total 15 working days. They dont have operator to answer our calls and they reply to emails after 28 working days :S!. I sent them email also to ask about the decision for my PR application but they didn't reply.

I just noticed I used to send all my emails to the embassy to this email:re-abu-dhabi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca (Reply to their emails). I don't know if they recieved them because the embassy email address for enquires is abdbi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca.

Please let me know if anyone used to sent to this email re-abu-dhabi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca and the embassy replied.
