Decent SOP and cover Letter Format

Hi all members,
What is the correct format of SOP and cover letter for visa point of view? Is it same to SOP which is sent to universities or college for admission or not?
Please provide correct format of SOP and Cover Letter to help all needed members in good presentation of themselves in front of VO.
What points should be included with heading or without headings? What points to take care of?
Should it be hand written or not?
Please provide suggestions all members.

dear big brother deep,
SOP and cover letter are not a part of checklist.Its a useless to attach for visa purpose.
Though some applicant satisfies themselves by attaching sop and cover letter.here are links of sop written by members.

I just need format of sop cos i have already masters degree, My PG program is totally relevant to previous study and with different curriculum specific to one area for future job of my choice. I just want to explain, all about me why i want to study for this course.
I will start process of loan next week. wish i could get soon. what about you?
