[DECEMBER] Online Citizenship Applicants

Waited 3 weeks after submitting a webform to let them know about the online citizenship compatibility issue on ECAS - only to be told to double check my input... submitted another webform again with screenshots. If they had put in more effort to try to check with all the information I provided they would know it does not work.

Just got Aor this morning after I submit 4 web enquires. First they said they don’t have anything in our system... but in the last one I attached a copy of online application (applied online on December 07, 2020)... after 2 days i got aor... i think if anyone applied online and didn’t get anything yet do web enquiry with copy of online file.. good luck everyone

Congrats again, check on ECAS next week, if you don't see anything send another webform for "Technical issue" for them to fix it.

Thank you for information. Good new for online applicant. Although I try to upload with online application form in web form, still no AOR yet. 02-Jan-2021, BC, single applicant.

Congrats. seems like online applications are on the move. Did you send them a copy of ur online application via webform? As for test material, there is a guide available on IRCC website.

Called yesterday and they said they can't see my application. Didn't use webform.

That's a good suggestion but seems like IRCC is sending AORs at their normal rate (which is slow) as couple of Dec 7th applicants got their AOR. So this could be a mere coincidence. If the trick would have worked for few late Dec 2020 applicants or early Jan 2021 applicants, more people would have followed the same trick. It may just create an extra overhead for IRCC to respond, if everyone starts sending queries to IRCC with the copy of application.

It worked for me ...I’m not forcing anyone to do it.. it’s everybody’s own choice.. if u don’t want to do it don’t do it then ... good luck

Maybe there is a pattern to AORs for online applications, they seem to send send 2 to 3 AORs after every 2 weeks time. So far online AORs came on these dates; Feb 10 &11 then on Feb 25&26 and then on March 10&11.
