How can you tell when ghost updates happen with your online application?

It usually shows up on the citizenship tracker that it was updated, but doesn’t have any actual update.

Has anyone from December 2020 group reached out to CIC via the web form and inquired about their application? It’s been more than 12 months now so we should be able to follow up I’m assuming. Please share if you’ve had any luck. Thanks!

Nevermind I just saw an update for oath ceremony scheduled a week from now but unfortunately I’m not in the country.

Does anyone know if we can take the virtual oath while not in canada or does one have to be in the country to take it? Wondering if anyone has tried since it’s just a ceremony over zoom.

Decision has been made since September 27th 2021 with a ghost update on October 5th, 2021. Been waiting for ceremony/oath invitation ever since. Calgary office is something else smh

Finally scheduled for Oath. Logged into my tracker today and saw an update from yesterday that I have ceremony on the 25th of January!
