are they still conducting interviews after test for everyone? Any idea how it is progressing for others after test?

From what I have read here, the interview seems not to be mandatory. It depends on the officer and the specific applicant. But nowadays, the request for scanned passport copies seem to be a new development (everyone seems to be getting the request) and maybe they will start conducting interviews for every applicant.

We just wait and comply with their request(s).

The number of interviews have gone down significantly now. However, most people get requested all the pages of all passports that were valid in the 5 year eligibility period.

Finally, two weeks after I completed my test, Hamilton (or Niagara office helping them out) updated my test to completed.

Latest update:
Test completed: Sept 2, 2021.
Language, Physical presence, and Prohibition: In progress.
Citizenship ceremony: Not started.

The waiting continues!!!!

It seems the Niagara office does things in batch! I suppose you have submitted your passport but didn't get an acknowledgment? That update should be coming in the next scheduled update.

Afterwards comes the next batch update! I suppose interview (maybe not as the rate of interviews has recently dropped due to the scanned passport request) and citizenship ceremony invite (if everything goes fine).

Given the recent Oath schedule of most applicants, I doubt we have a chance of finalizing the process earlier than Jan 2021.

Where is the spreadsheet located to view details? Is paper app faster or online? I am planning to apply in 1-2 days and i am confused whether to apply online or paper? Can anyone advise
