Just curious to know the office that sent the test invite since you mentioned that Scarborough is heavily backlogged.

I noticed the update on the tracker. No email yet, it might take sometime. Most likely the test invite will be from different office (other than Scarborough) and but then main processing office might remain Scarborough itself (for Oath later and remaining checks).

Hello Happy Friday - is it normal for the online tracker to indicate that I have been invited for a test invite but with no email in my inbox yet?
For the record, the tracker was updated just this morning (27AUG) for a test invite in early September.
And yes I did check my spam
So I suspect that it could just be a delay but figured I could benefit from our collective experience.

Yes it's normal. You will get an email in a day or 2

Just wondering why they ask some applicants for fingerprints. @Pran6009, has it been more than 10 years since you gave IRCC your fingerprints?

Not sure about how they choose to request a fingerprint and I am sure that they would have misplaced my fingerprints which I've submitted 5 years ago for the PR as they are very notorious for misplacing them and also they request if they need to cross-check any criminal records which hit against your names as they search the database to make sure if everything is clear to move ahead.

I agree with you. Since you submitted the fingerprint within the last 5 years, I wonder why they are asking for another one - just as you mentioned, it must have been misplaced. Whatever reason, it should be fine!

you didn't give me a scare. I am so happy for you and so glad you gave me an update. I checked the portal, my last update is still June 28th. How did you find out your office is Winnipeg?I am applying from Toronto.

I got the citizenship test invite email from the Winnipeg office as well as the passport copies request from them so I figured they are my processing office. I hope you get an invite soon.. fingers crossed for you!

Wow! Congratulations!!! Your test was completed the same day you wrote the test. Good job Winnipeg office. Here I am after 1 week of my test (I even took the test the day it became available) still waiting for it to be completed. Hamilton or Niagara office is really at work!!!

i have 2 questions.
1.Should i attach my PR card as that is also my travel document?
2. what is the naming convention for the document to send?

Travel document is your passport. If they need your PR, they would have asked for it. Clearly it’s the passport scan cover to cover in this case.

As for naming convention, there’s none. So anything you’d like should do
