Hi All,
Today I visited OINP Office, 400 University Avenue Toronto, inquired about my application and slow processing but got the same response
"OINP quota for 2015 was filled before November 2015 and we had moved those applications to 2016. Additional to that we had high volume of applications in Nov and Dec months.
Since we have not processed any application in Jan and Feb months, we had considered your application as from Mar month. We will process it but cannot tell you exact date, be patient and wait..."
Congrats @kora. Looks like you received nomination after 8 days of AOR..... that's really great. You are inland CEC and currently on Work permit. Correct ?.

So basically they are saying, they are considering Dec-2015 applications as if they were submitted in March 2016.
Strange thing is, in 2015 OINP PNP quota was 5200, out of which 2700 had to be mandatorily used under EE
(source : http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL_FAQ.html)
And as per IRCC 2015 YE report, only 817 Ontrario nominees got ITA till 3-Jan-2016.
Now OINP is saying that their 2015 EE quota got exhausted in/before Nov. 2015 and also as per them they were not processing in Dec-Jan-Feb 2016. So what did Ontario do with those remaining 1883 (2700-817=1883) Nominations ?. Only God knows.
Considering the latest topic on 2015 quota, do you guys agree with me that Ontario Immigration should have published the news on their website?
If they had done so, we would've known we should wait way more than was expected and there wouldn't be "counting days" in our everyday to-do list.

If we see OINP master files (XL sheet) numbers from the beginning to Nov. Looks like it's a fact that they have reached 2015 cap in Nov. As June applicant's file number was #150001x and Nov applicant's file number was 150263x.
Also EE report indicates numbers of nominations not AOR.
Just want to point out in OOPNP master spreadsheet there is an entry (entry No. 226) which has file No. #150315x, application received on Oct 9
here's the link to spreadsheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wBVA84e9i-uW3SEFnrHPOECTagG4imkCUoc0SsTtukQ/edit#gid=1449150989
I think it's hard to come to a conclusion by the file number itself as this applicant and some other applicants have file numbers above 2700.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

nothing new in the news. IF this is true they wouldn't have send AOR up to 8th December applicants. The problem still remains why not 10th December? why the pause? Once they started considering March than they should send regularly so this is just normal reply.
