December Application OINP

Mostly they will not ask any such things to FSW applicants. IF you are CEC its a different story. In fact what they are asking is much less than they used to ask before. just a POF update and so on.

I'm FSW and was asked for this. I just sent a couple of resumes but gave up because I feel is almost impossible to land a job from outside Canada.

do you have any communication on email from your employer stating that they're not going to provide the letter ? if yes, then you can send OINP the same emaila and provide another email from a team lead / manager stating some parts from the reference letter ( that is to show that you have some person in the company to confirm that you work under them etc ).

Dear All,

I have one question, my file number during the full OINP process is XHSW-160XXXX, yesterday after submitting the additional documents they requested, I received an e-mail stating the following:

Please be advised that your application to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has been referred to a senior processing officer for a decision. The program will contact you should we require additional information to support the decision on your application. Otherwise, the program will contact you again when a decision has been made on your application.


The issue that I have noticed that they wrote my file in this last mail as: HHSW-160XXXX

which shows change in the first letter of the file number from X to H, is this normal or could be a typo mistake?

Please advice

A. They opened your file, implies that the earlier applicants to you have already been called, requested the docs needed by them.
B. Unlike AoR's they will expeditiously run through remaining Dec, Jan, ..and other months

Now, OINP should release the NoM's of the seniors before the next draw, who are in the state of decision for long.
