I know I shouldn't compare but all people with me or after me have got PPRs.

The mail i sent to know the status of my application was not replied on.

No idea what's happening

My boyfriend has got his PR long back and we have plans to fly by August

Chill, who told you that all people with you or after you have got PPR. Be thankful that you are on IP2 at least, I am s14th AOR, still On IP1. So, relax and be hopeful okay.

I've heard that they prioritize student visas between 15 March and 15 April.. May be something else though not sure..

I'm CEC Inland (so Ottawa visa office, I believe), IT, AOR on Dec 6th... still waiting.

I am surprised by your timeline!! CEC is usually quick. Hope they issue PPR soon for you

I'm not sure. But then again, I'm not totally convinced that applications processed there are done any faster than other VOs.
It's just one of those widely held views around the forum without any real proof to back it up, so I take it with a grain of salt. No reason not to be optimistic though!
