I received an email reply to my inquiry asking about the Visa Office; more or less they stated that the case is still at the Centralized Intake Office and has not been transferred to a local visa office.
There was also a polite note to keep email inquiries at a minimum as they have a large influx. So I guess it's better not to bug them about the Visa office at this early point in time.

That usually means they haven't finished reviewing eligibility (At NA2, they look at the POF and Employment. Other elements of Eligibility are passed by then). As its in CIO, it may be waiting for an Agent's review. Once the doc status changes to no documents required, the file would be ready to transfer to CPC or LVO.
