December 18: AOR
January 3 - MEP / IP1
January 8 - NA2
February 21 - ADR. IMM 5406 - Additional Family Information / additional documents sent
February 23 - IP2
March 3 - PPR

Today I logged in to CIC to check my status. It showed "update" in front of the Permanent Residency application, but there was nothing new when I checked the application itself.

Not sure if it was a glitch or good news or on the way

I didn't. As anxious as I am about the final decision, I find it too early to order notes at this point.

Good to know ... I saw this yesterday too and I thought it was because I ordered notes on Mar 1st. Was scouring the forums if anyone had the same flash. Mine changed back to submitted immediately after.

I haven't seen anybody mentioning it in the forum either. Not sure what happened.

Must be one of those 'ghost updates'.
Hopefully, it means your application is being worked on in some way. Who knows maybe you will receive the PPR soon after!

I have never been able to log in from the first time I have figured out an average of five attempts. Just a glitch ...

It's exactly that for me too. I raised a technical issue through the portal -- which took a few attempts, BTW -- but got a canned response that wasn't very helpful. Not sure if i should feel good about knowing someone else has the same irritating problem.
