Request your help with the status. I submitted my application recently. I am not able to map the stage in which my application is with the status. for eg. IP1 status would correspond to what message in CIC against let say Background check, documents, medical etc. Similarly for IP2,NA1 or NA2.

AOR 14 Dec 2017 and background check changed to this since 21 Dec 2017
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
May be earlier since I didn't notice about it.
But medical checkup still showing "If you need a medical exam, a message with instructions will be sent to you."
Already received additional document requests on 20th Dec 2017 and 3rd Jan 2018 regarding to background check.
Is it normal? I thought normally medical will clear before proceeding to Bg check?

A11 checks are done at CPC
Then the role of LVO is just reviewing CIC agent recommendation and triggering PPR request ?

LVO is not always in the picture. For US applicants, as an example, A11 and final approval both happen at CPC.

I understand it's in IP1 stage but my medical is not cleared until now.
