May I know how did you complain for slow processing? I called at IRCC cust care number. They didn't give me any reasons.. just said that average processing time is 9 months.. for me it's just been 3 months so I should wait.
Honestly that was quite a disappointing response.
Applicans who applied after me have already got their oath ceremony scheduled. My BCG status has not been updated till date.
Hey, so I applied to renew my PR in March 2024. At that time, the average wait for PR renewal was showing as about 3 months. When I still had no movement by November last year, I sent a complaint, and another one in December. I finally got my new PR card right at the end of Dec. Complaint was via this link: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/feedback-retroaction/feedback-retroaction-eng.aspx
In that case, my PR renewal turn around time was wayyy outside the norm for estimated wait times. 3 months for citizenship is very much inside the estimated wait times. I totally feel where you're coming from, it's hard to see people who applied after you be farther ahead in the processing, but it's all random with which office is handling your application, etc. We'll all get there, don't worry. : )

LPP- In progress in tracker
But i did call IRCC and the agent said everything on their side is completed even tho tracker might take time to get updated and i should just wait for the Oath email now.
Not sure why tracker doesn't say same but i guess all we can do is wait and go with the flow.
Thanks for sharing. When did you call IRCC and when did your LPP complete according to the agent on the phone? I’ve seen applicants have their tracker take 8 days to reflect LPP so wondering when your LPP was done by the officer.
Anyone that got the PR settlement email had any updates? Seemed like a bunch of people got the same glitch email on the same day including my wife and I , was hoping it meant an update coming our way.
from what I see i.e. just trends across Dec and Jan - whoever has completed background on or before Feb 15, is usually cleared for LPP by now. Obviously there will always be exceptions based on case complexity or non-routine cases.
P.S. This doesnt include folks who were asked for FPs or who don't need test.

Also, I called IRCC again today because I forgot to ask about LPP and my local.office. Agent told me things look great and my application is progressing well but no definitive response if LPP has been started...just that it hasn't been completed yet. And this Agent was friendly and offered up that my local office has been recently updated from Scarborough to Mississauga.
Alright, I'm not going to call again or worry about the timeline. It will be what it will be.
The previous agent from the other day told me Scarborough. The one today was being evasive about answering LPP question. Just that it isn't completed yet but added that my application looks to be progressing really well considering I just applied at the end of December. whatever that means lol. I kinda take this stuff with a grain of salt.
