The inconsistency between guidelines and online system sometimes drive me crazy. What I learned from this forum is whenever you have a doubt, just submit with a letter of explanation to clarify what you thought. This is what I did for submitting IMM5707. I submitted a short text saying that I could not find where to submit IMM5707. So I submitted in the Client Information section.

While submitting the OWP application just save this AOR email as PDF and submit it with the OWP application or will I receive any PDF letter in GC key or PR tracker?

I applied for my spouse. We received an email that says we can apply for an open work permit. When I checked online I noticed that I need an AOR for the work permit application process. I am confused which one is the AOR document. Is it the one I received as the sponsor at the very beginning? It reads something like this:

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class you submitted to this office on behalf of XXXXXXXX and family (if applicable).

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent Residence (APR) for your relative will be processed separately and he/she will be contacted shortly.

If you received this communication via email, please note that another copy will not be mailed to you.

AIP is short for approval in principle, it mentions the person receiving it is eligible to sponsor or be sponsored depending on who received it.
