You can use TextNow app . You can get a canadian number as well and make free calls to canada and united states

My background status currently says "....We will send you a message when we start your background check" and the Eligibility status says "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements".

I wanted to know the BG Status from fellow members that have passed their eligibility.

Background and eligbility status won't change all the way till decision has been made on your file. Best way to know the status of eligibility and background is by calling IRCC

Birth certificates
Much more personal information for both me and my spouse

So the idea to give a consent to a third party accessing my file
not even free access but i pay 15$ is non sense

Whever i call IRCC it says unable to transfer the call and the phone gets cut, any idea how you guys call, i am inland applicant

called on these numbers but they simply end the call saying there is heavr inflow of calls and we are unable to connect you to an agent. how do you get in queue ?

You just gotta keep calling until the last message is something about transferring the call. I would recommend setting up the call back and use the textnow app.

Keep calling them. I could talk to an agent after calling them 9 times.

I just picked up the first GU in my application now. Nothing changed in application. I don't plan to call or order GCMS notes until after 6 months. AOR 18th Dec. CEC Inland

Are you waiting passport request??? I am waiting from last 3 month

I share a similar timeline with kchachap102 hence I am curious about the advancements in their case. I have completed my biometrics in the first week of March so lets hope for the best.
