Thank you for your well wishes. I had mentioned in my LoE that the POF that I had provided with my initial e-APR docs covers the minimum amount required for an additional family member and can provide the updated version if requested.

Hi, I received my AOR on Dec 16 2020. I had my newborn on Jan 29 2021. I have sent documents yesterday to IRCC to add my newborn as a dependent to my e-APR. I have submitted the IMM008 generic application form along with supporting documents (proof of payment, birth certificate, passport copy, medicals, marriage certificate). Can anyone advise if I need to submit the IMM5406e additional family information form as well? @legalfalcon would appreciate if you have any information on this topic. I read on the link you shared "Adding wife / child to the EE - https://goo.gl/4UGWCn" that IMM5406e is required but I am not sure about this. Thanks!

• (If applicable) A Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) form,
• (If applicable) An Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) form,
• (If applicable) A signed Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) form,
• A copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship,
• A copy of the family member's valid passport,
• Police certificates for all countries where the family member over the age of 18 has lived for more than 6 months since turning 18,
• A letter of explanation, and
• If applicable, the proof of payment.

I used the app ‘TextNow’.. got a local Canadian number.. called IRCC at their helpline.. waited for 45 min in the queue. Yes, the agent did give me additional updates that I was not able to get from my online account.

I also tried to call, but its not possible to talk directly to the agent without having to listen to the automatic response and typing the number of your application on the dial pad and hear all that you already know and what’s shown on your page?

Try "TextMe", picking a Canadian phone# is also free. Just got one yesterday w/ Toronto prefix 437

File still at Central Intake Office and will be sent to Ottawa Office in future.

The PA, spouse and all dependent children have to fill their own copy of IMM5406.

I called IRCC on 16 Feb. I just now tried to get a Canadian number using the same app and I got one.
