BIL received, however unable to book any appointment here in India as VAC is allowing appointments for returning Students and Workers.
Can this potentially delay the Background verification considering Biometric details update might take time? Or the BG will continue to happen in parallel?
Any guidance/suggestion would be helpful.

im pnp outland. should i be worried?
There is a general consensus that PNP candidates take slightly longer than others. I don't know why.
I believe you should get it by Feb 1st week.

I guess security screening will be on hold, rest all other processes will proceed in parallel
AOR Dec 2020 who has gone to Nepal and got their biometric done, what is the progress on your application?
Is it worth the hassle or should we wait for India biometric to open?

Difficult question - can't say go , can't say not go. What if after the hassle the application is still delayed in Covid pace? Processing has erratic for all. Why not wait and be with the majority? VACs will eventually open

Wont it be difficult to get a slot for the biometrics as there will thousands waiting for than 8 months to get their biometrics done?

It may make some sense, but still dicey. Not discouraging, please try whatever is possible within your limits - Kathmandu, Dubai, Dhaka, Colombo. Dubai provides good service as per some applicants.

I received my BIL on 19 Jan but haven't yet received MEP. Shall I be worried/concerned ? What could be possible reasons because usually people receive BIL and MEP together.
Any update on this ??
My AOR was 24th Dec, got BIL on 26th Jan.. but no status on MEP.
