For us, ECAS status for PA is "Application received". But we got a request for photos from CPC-M. So someone is looking at it even though the ECAS status has not moved to "In process".

Even small input is so helpful to stay positive.

Yes, received by email yesterday morning. Oddly, no update on GCKEY as it still shows as processing on there. Not sure how we are to submit documents online if GCKEY doesn't update.

In the email for Passport request the attached PDF is only thing you need to submit your passport at VFSGLOBAL( your nearby location).
All the details are included in the email you got.
NOTE: we don’t submit them online.

As my spouse is from Holland she does not need a visa to get entry into Canada so according to the letter I received, we are to send everything (e.g. copies of passport, letter with filled out Appendix A) online (as we have an online account) except for pictures which we send in the mail

I received my SA on 28th , but then when i called CIC they said they are deciding on my eligibility for sponsoring. Also my file is transfered to CPC-M and then no emails on transfer of file. Is any1 else here facing the same?

Every time you call they have different answers. So don't worry. if you already received the SA letter they are not going to change anything. Now just wait for PA application to move forward.
