ECAS changed to DM Jan 26
Med request Jan 27

wow that's really fast! so I'm wondering what happens after SA?

My husband will be completing his biometrics next week, once this is cleared. I believe they will be reviewing the documents for his eligibility to be sponsored. And maybe sending request for medical as well.

In my case i didnt get any email for AOR2. It was just ecas status changed to ‘Application received’ and then back to ‘ in process’ again. According to many people in this forum this can be also considered as AOR2. Correct me if i am wrong here.

ok so that happened to my app today... so i'd assume that as AOR2 lol

No email for Medicals passed, After the file moved to CPC- Mississauga on Jan 7th I got an email and later the gckey said medicals passed on Jan 10th. Ecas showed another point saying they started processing the application on Jan 16th.
2.We started processing ****************'s application on January 16, 2020.

and no word after this. Heard it could take some time after the file moved to another VO.

Strange thing happened. They sent the SA by Canada Post. ECAS had gone to DM on the 14th. Till now all communication (AoR1 etc) had been through email
I'll probably need to call and ask if they don't have my email anymore.

Why have people whose application was received after me getting SA before me? Does it depend on how complicated application is?? I’m definitely eligible to sponsor.

I checked the website, it doesn’t say anything new yet. Just that my application has been received. I’m assuming it will be updated next once my spouse completes his biometrics.

has anyone else had their account updated with new information after being approved as a sponsor?

When I applied for PR for myself(with them showing as Non-accompanying) all of us were asked to do the medicals. This expired in Nov.
When I sponsored them now, it was asked to show the previous medical reports.

How many days apart were the requests? Just to know how long to wait.
