2. We started processing your application on January 3, 2020.

Is the date 13th of December AOR1? If so, what does the date 3rd of Jan represent?

13 Dec is when they have received the application.
03 Jan is when they have started processing the application.
AOR is not sent yet if it was sent then there appears a line that says “we have sent an acknowledgment ..........on yymmdd.” Which in all likelihood should be sent out next week.

Application was received in Sydney CPC on Dec-12.
ECAS showing "In Process" today. "Started processing" date Jan-3.
Till yesterday it could not find the application.
Both Fee Receipt number and UCI worked to login to ECAS.

Interestingly, if I give sponsor's details while logging into ECAS, I am able to see both sponsorship application status and permanent residence application status.
Whereas If I give PA's details, only permanent residence status can be seen.

If its only for the Principal Applicant (my spouse) then shouldn't it be just 1. Or should she also count me too?

Ghost update is when you come to GCKey account and instead of "submitted/read" status you can see "updated". You click to see what's changed and realize that actually nothing has. That happens 1-2 times during the process.

It is. What's your timeline? If you didn't get AOR, it's too early for you to link it.

Are you entering the correct number for how many people in the application? You have to count the PA, the sponsor and any dependents even if not joining. I didn't count the sponsor at first and got the same message.
