No did not get SA and yes i saw some other threads which got transferred to Etobicoke. I dont know what to expect anymore.

Hopefully you will hear good news. This experience can be very frustrating as we don’t know what’s in the mind of these officers. Did they ask you for additional info before transferring or they just sent the message out of the blue?

I received 2 letters for spouse and Sponsor. I think this is SA and AIP ?

It depends what the letter said. Did the letter say you’ve met eligibility requirements? If so then yes, it’s likely SA and AIP!

Spouse letter :-

"This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or
Common-Law Partner in Canada Class.
It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent
residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class."

Sponsor letter:-

"You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent Residence
(APR) for your relative will be processed separately and they will be contacted shortly."

Not entirely sure. I think in the past you wait for final decision and then do landing interview but now you may just get COPR. I’m not sure though so hopefully someone else can confirm or correct me if I’m mistaken. Check the November & October thread as well.

Biometrics Request: June 25 2020 (Updated old Biometric which is valid till 2029)

OWP Approved: July 15, 2020

Medical request received: October 14, 2020.
Note - I have already submitted upfront medical with application.

Medical: Medical have been received on November 18th 2020

AIP : Letter received on November 18th 2020

SA : Letter received on November 18th 2020

They did not asked for additional information and just sent the message out of the blue. btw My application was received DEC 20 2019. I though i am close as my timeline still says 92% completed and 32 days left. But i saw threads people saying Etobicoke's timeline is different .

Hi, all! I've been lurking here for months and I've appreciated everyone's timeline updates. I just had the disheartening update that my biometrics are "poor quality" and I need to provide new ones

Has anyone experienced this since the new Service Canada process was instated? I've no idea if they're going to call me again to schedule another appointment. I emailed the webform; hopefully they don't give me a generic response. On the upside, the "additional documents" row changed to "not applicable", so hopefully they don't need any additional relationship proof.

If anyone is curious about my timeline:

• Application received: 12/18
• AOR: never received (long story)
• Biometrics request: 9/25
• Medical exam request: 9/27
• Medical exam appt: 9/28
• Medical results approved: 10/13
• Call to schedule biometrics: 10/23
• Biometric appt: 10/16
• AIP via email: 11/3
• SA via email: 11/3

How long is it currently taking the IRCC to finish reviewing my application after my spouse the sponsor was approved of eligibility to sponsor me?

My spouse and I are are wondering the same. Sponsor’s ecas changed to DM on Nov on 3 and the applicants GCKEY updated to “we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements” on the same day. Since then nothing. Did you receive a letter for SA or just DM on ECAS?
