I spoke to IRCC they said Ottawa office has yet to verify our test results and they can’t provide more info. Just FYI test was completed 2 weeks ago tomorrow ‍♀

Mine was changed to completed after 8 days.

I feel Ottawa office is way slower than others.

Montreal is really slow as well. They have a big backlog.

My neighbour working for the fed gov. I see her putting the computer on the backyard table but spending the entire days gardening or playing with kids . It is so frustrating, working from home doesn’t actually mean working for all , and maybe this explains all the delays we are suffering.

That's pretty much what I though... it's a disgrace, absolute disgrace what IRCC is doing with 2019 applicants and not putting anyone accountable.

Are you waiting for the oath? When did you give the test and if the background check is completed?

Hello, has anyone tried emailing the long email we get with the interview invite to get updates on the oath ceremony? The office dealing with my application is Mississauga, I did my interview on May 5th and I haven't heard back since. Online tracker indicates "not started" on my Citizenship Ceremony, while the others are all "Completed". Thanks.

If you read the posts from others being processed at Missisauga, it’s about 2-3 months between DM to oath. It hasn’t been 1 month for you yet. Unfortunately this is the norm.

They are working. There’s just a massive backlog that got worse with the lockdowns and shift to online processing. Not much you can do but wait for your turn, unless you can qualify for urgent processing and they will actually grant it.

Sadly doesn’t look like they care much about FIFO from the AOR standpoint.

Just a note of encouragement that things are moving, albeit slowly. After 18 months, my husband finally got his oath invitation!
