December 2019 - Citizenship Application

Hi,
I am in exact same situation with my Oath, which is scheduled for December 29, 2021. I haven't received an invitation email as of today.
I've used the web form twice.
After the first form submission, I got a response that my request was forwarded to the correct department and it will be addressed promptly.
After two weeks of silence, I had submitted via web form another request to send me the Oath invitation/instructions.
The second time I did not get any meaningful response aside from a generic email that they deal with urgent issues only.

Have you missed your Oath or managed to get the invite? Are there any updates on your online account?

Is it really true all I can do is miss the Oath, sit and wait again until they re-schedule the Oath date, and eventually send the invitation?


Any suggestions/advice?

I did not get the oath invitation. I noticed that the big box with the oath ceremony instructions disappeared from my tracker but still the tracker shows the oath in progress. I think they cancelled the ceremony on that day and will re-schedule it, but when nobody really know!!!

Have you received your 2nd Fingerprint request? I am assuming, your first Fingerprint must had been taken over a year ago and expired already.

No for me the fingerprint I did in may 2021 only . And also ecas status is decision made with all section as completed except oath not started . I don’t think they will request Fp again . Recently 4 month back I changed my address . I think that may delay the process .

I think I have the exactly same time line as you. My test was completed on Oct 26th, Ecas is "Decision Made" since Nov 26th and all the steps are "Completed" excepted for the Oath. They never asked me for new fingerprints and I didnt have an interview.

I check the Status Tracker multiple times a day.

Then it's gonna be oath for you next. I am also Dec 2019 applicant. My DM date is Dec 6th. There is no such fixed pattern to predict but still there are higher chances that, we need to wait for 2 months on average to receive oath date. Let's see. Good luck

I dont see DM date only DM on ecas, my application shows in progress on new tracker. Oath not started . Is this normal? Same for mywife

Yes. That's normal. We consider the date when everything has been marked as "Completed" (including Prohibitions) except Oath as the DM date (to be confirmed in ecas).

The glorious day has come, after what feels like decades of waiting I finally received an oath ceremony invitation for 2022-01-04. Christmas came early! I hope many others will get the same email here too!

(of course the waiting isn't over yet, still have to receive the certificate and then wait for my passport to be able to leave the country, but this is a big win =D)
