Hi, can the port of entry be changed to a different city than the one mentioned in the EE application?

I know a lot of us feel that things arent working out and the wait seems infinitely frustrating I too am one of you. A lot of you might even have put things on hold and I can totally understand how it feels. Its excruciating and often takes a toll mentally. I am December 2nd AOR. I have dependent spouse outland in my application. I waited till December 2020 and then I resigned from my job and came back to my country. I don't have a job from last four months and honestly after leaving 7 years in Canada it is really hard to adjust in my home country. Canada is amazing place and I did sacrifice for my spouse. I still have valid work permit till July and I am confused and don't know how much time they will take more.

Many applicants have received this sort of update.I got it in January and a few days after that, BG section turned to ‘in progress’ there is no update since then.

I can only imagine how difficult it would have been for you. Never the less , it's still 2 more months to July and I am sure considering the vaccine rollout, we'd see some movements before that. Hang in there mate , Sooner than later you'd see some positive things happening.

Have you tried ordering GCMS notes ? That can help you know the exact status of your file.
