Are there some people receiving PPR from other AOR months? Wondering why this application process takes so long..if they are understaff then why they always conduct EE draws while there are so many backlogs..just curious why it's like that..as what I have seen on the news, UK already approved Pfizer vaccine and will start vaccination next week. I hope Canada will also do the same..

I am not sure anyone knows.. just keep checking their website regularly! I remember someone said he was asked from IRCC if he can travel before March, so it may likely be around March or earlier if the vaccine roll out goes smoothly!!

Also one more thing, has IRCC inquired travel before March very lately or way before (since the new rules came in place in November right)

Kindly be informed that people with PR are constantly landing in canada and they are not being turned back. Just have ur quarantine plan in place. You might want to read and digest well the information on CIC website where they listed expemtions from the travel restrictions.Pr holders are exempted. I stand to be corrected.

International travel restricted till 21 January 2021, The US restriction is still 21 December 2020. But these can be extended as they have been so far.

Just received information letter from IRCC
It says "Good day, Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Please note that nothing further is required from you at this time. Please note that disruptions and restrictions due to COVID-19 may have an impact on processing times. Regrettably, we are unable to provide you with a timeframe, but rest assured we are doing what we can to process your application in a timely fashion".

Last time I heard it was extended till 31 Jan 2021.
